Thuja ‘Green Giant’ has been gaining popularity in recent years as a privacy screen tree. To assess its potential as a Christmas tree, we provided the display tree for the SC Christmas Tree Association booth at the 2010 SC State Fair. The reaction to it was enthusiastic and positive. Thuja Green Giant really shines when decorated. It is a full, yet natural looking tree that provides nice pockets for hanging ornaments.
